We're seeking to showcase the most innovative high school minds across the state of Georgia and award grants totaling over $7,500.
The Day One Challenge is open to students in accredited Georgia high schools and this year’s contest will focus on artificial intelligence. Teams will have until April 5 to submit their solutions. The submissions will be framed in a PRFAQ format, which is the way Amazon approaches internal ideation for new products and solutions.
Through public, peer, and expert voting, ten teams will be selected as finalists to gather on May 5 with mentors from industry and academic institutions for a daylong innovation summit at Tech Square, the heart of Atlanta’s tech scene. Over $7,500 in grants will be awarded amongst the finalists.

Artificial intelligence will change how we function as a society in many ways. How do you propose we use artificial intelligence by 2030 to fundamentally alter how we address one of these societal needs: education, health, or sustainability? What will be the benefits and consequences of your solution?
High school students throughout the state of Georgia are eligible to participate in the challenge. Let us know you're interested in fielding a team, so we can send you more details.
Thanks to these partners for making the Day One Challenge possible
